1. Who does your work? Carefree Koatings is owned and operated by Chuck Pitzer. I perform my own work and am fully insured.
2. When can I use my tub after it is refinished? The natural curing time is 72 hours. If you want a shorter dry time, then an optional kiln dry process can be used which will allow use typically in 8 hours.
3. What colors can be used when a tub is refinished? White is the most common color, however, any color both past and present can be matched and applied.
4. How long can I expect a refinished tub to last? Carefree Koatings provides a 5 year warranty, however, under normal usage you can expect many years beyond the warranty period.
5. Is your warranty prorated? Carefree Koatings does not prorate our warranties. Since we use Kott Koatings glazes, a prorated warranty is not necessary. These glazes are specially designed for refinishing.
